My player automatically deleted played episodes to make room on my phone, which was a huge pain point I had with Spotify. I can change how many episodes of any given show I want downloaded, so that as I listen to one, it will automatically download the next. I can set up how often my podcasts self update and download. When I search for an interview guest in my podcast player, I can see other podcasts that guest has been on, as well as if that guest has their own podcast, all by default, without having to specify that I'm not interested in obscure musicians with similar names. I can sort my episodes by publication date, download date, and reverse of both of those. I don't have to reconfigure fading between "tracks" because it's a native podcast player. I don't have to go into offline mode to make sure I'm not using data when listening to a podcast that I already downloaded. Resources /r/podcasting Wiki Related Subreddits Questions?
